We Develop Web Sites! ~ About Us
Who, what and why is The One Image?
The One Image is run by Roger Croxson and is the third incarnation of his web design business. The first was Wholistic Web Designs which ran for nearly eight years, this was incorporated in to a new joint venture of which he was the design and business development director. Roger sold his share after 3 years and started The One Image in 2007 so that he could incorporate his photographic skills into his work. The One Image started life in Tavistock and has now moved to Gunnislake, Cornwall.
Before becoming involved with the World Wide Web, Roger worked in domestic and International banking, moved on to the Electronics industry before spending several years in academe. A further spell of both running businesses and helping others with start ups led him to the early days of satellite broadcasting where he was Research and Development director for an international consultancy dealing with such areas as station & programming development and new problems such as cross border Intellectual Property. He then started an organic hamper company which, sadly, was before its time.
An interest in Complementary Medicine led to qualifying as a Reflexologist, Crystal Healer, Reiki Healer and studying Shamanic Healing. Roger also qualified as a teacher so he could run local authority classes and he wrote several books on the subjects, some for Hodder Educational and others for his own publishing house.
The call of the technological age led Roger to computing and then web site design. His views are straight forward, keep it simple, make it easy to use and gain peoples attention. So far this has worked, having developed a fair portfolio. Roger also maintains that individual personal attention is the best way forward for his business - he is pleased to call a majority of his clients friends!
